About the Home Page
The Home page provides you with up-to-date information on compliance-related topics. You can either begin your research or learn more about current developments at the Home page.
The Quick Search section of the Home page allows you to search for regulatory guidance on a specific subject. Regulatory guidance documents summarize a jurisdiction’s laws and regulations on the subject and also provide links to other helpful information, such as frequently asked questions (FAQs), model law comparisons, and references cited in the summaries. To search for regulatory guidance, simply type your search terms in the text box, select Healthcare, and click Search.
The Quick Search section also allows you to search the list of Navigator topics for a specific term or phrase. Click the Navigator tab in the Quick Search section. Then type your term or phrase in the text box, select Healthcare, and click Search.
Find a Statute or Regulation with a Partial Citation
In the Find a Statute or Regulation with a Partial Citation section, you can retrieve a statute or regulation using part of its citation. Type the citation information, e.g., a section number, in the text box; choose Healthcare from the Select a Topic drop-down list and a jurisdiction from the Select a Jurisdiction drop-down list; and click Go.
Search for Regulatory Guidance by Topic
Retrieve more focused results by searching for regulatory guidance by topic. To search by topic, choose Healthcare from the Select a Topic drop-down list and click Go. The Health Insurance Regulatory Guidance search template is displayed. If you want the documents in your result to include specific terms, type the terms in the Search Terms text box. Select one or more topics in the Topic list box. If desired, select a specific jurisdiction by selecting its check box under Jurisdiction Selection. Then click Search.
In the Announcements section, you can read about new laws and regulations affecting your area of interest. Announcements contain links to underlying documents, such as Federal Register documents, so you can easily retrieve the latest versions of statutes and regulations.
